Tradesman mate is another way of joining navy, but you will not be considered as a navy personale. Infact, Indian navy says join navy as civilian for tradesman mate in it’s official website.

Well, there is no merit list of this post, but applicants do have to pass a written test, the result for which is released after some time.

You can check navy result online from the official navy website. Here is the step by step guide on how you can do so.

Step 1: Type the following address in your browser www.joinindiannavy.gov.in OR search for “join Indian navy” in google, and open the first link that will appear.

Step 2: In the official navy website, look for the “What’s new” section (at bottom of the header) that shows new notifications. If your result or merit list is declared than the news will appear there.

Step 3: If you see the result is out, then you can login with your ID and the result will be displayed there.

Do make sure to download the result and take a print out. It will act as a prof of your selection in case if you don’t receive the call letter.

Navy Online Result – Queries And Problems

Q. When will the merit list come out ?

Ans. There is no fix time on when the merit list will be released. But we will update all the news and updates about it here. Also, be in touch with official website.

Q. What will be the expected cutoff marks this year?

Ans. Cutoff marks depends on the exam and various other factors like competition etc. But on average the cutoff marks for AA and SSR are around 45 to 50 marks. Please do note that this is just and assumption and not actual cutoff marks.

Q. Is merit list based on a state wise merit or All India basis?

Ans. The merit list is based on the state wise merit if the recruitment was only for a particular state. If the recruitment was for all India then the merit will be on All India base.

Q. I am not able to see my result (result not showing) in official Indian navy website. It is showing error.

Ans. Either there are some technical fault from their side. If so then wait for a while as they will resolve it. Else, you can contact them through mail or others and tel them your problem.

Q. Is there waiting list for candidates who do not get selected in merit list? OR, are there chances of candidates who were just few marks away?

Ans. No, there is no such thing as waiting list. Indian navy publish one final merit list for every recruitment.

Q. My name is in merit list, when will I receive the Joining letter (call letter)?

Ans. If your name is there in the merit list, then you will receive the joining letter very soon (almost 20 to 25 days).
